On learning rules and memory storage abilities of asymmetrical neural networks

چکیده
2014 Most models of memory proposed so far use symmetric synapses. We show that this assumption is not necessary for a neural network to display memory abilities. We present an analytical derivation of memory capacities which does not appeal to the replica technique. It only uses a more transparent and straightforward mean-field approximation. The memorization efficiency depends on four learning parameters which, if the case arises, can be related to datas provided by experiments carried out on real synapses. We show that the learning rules observed so far are fully compatible with memorization capacities. J. Phys. France 49 (1988) 711-726 MAI 1988, Classification Physics Abstracts 87.30G

INTEGRATED ADAPTIVE FUZZY CLUSTERING (IAFC) NEURAL NETWORKS USING FUZZY LEARNING RULES
The proposed IAFC neural networks have both stability and plasticity because theyuse a control structure similar to that of the ART-1(Adaptive Resonance Theory) neural network. The unsupervised IAFC neural network is the unsupervised neural network which uses the fuzzyleaky learning rule. This fuzzy leaky learning rule controls the updating amounts by fuzzymembership values. The supervised IAFC ...
متن کاملConstruction cost estimation of spherical storage tanks: artificial neural networks and hybrid regression—GA algorithms
One of the most important processes in the early stages of construction projects is to estimate the cost involved. This process involves a wide range of uncertainties, which make it a challenging task. Because of unknown issues, using the experience of the experts or looking for similar cases are the conventional methods to deal with cost estimation. The current study presents data-driven metho...
متن کاملIntegration of remote sensing and meteorological data to predict flooding time using deep learning algorithm
Accurate flood forecasting is a vital need to reduce its risks. Due to the complicated structure of flood and river flow, it is somehow difficult to solve this problem. Artificial neural networks, such as frequent neural networks, offer good performance in time series data. In recent years, the use of Long Short Term Memory networks hase attracted much attention due to the faults of frequent ne...
متن کاملHigh Order Neural Networks for Efficient Associative Memory Design
We propose learning rules for recurrent neural networks with high-order interactions between some or all neurons. The designed networks exhibit the desired associative memory function: perfect storage and retrieval of pieces of information and/or sequences of information of any complexity.
متن کاملEffect of sound classification by neural networks in the recognition of human hearing
In this paper, we focus on two basic issues: (a) the classification of sound by neural networks based on frequency and sound intensity parameters (b) evaluating the health of different human ears as compared to of those a healthy person. Sound classification by a specific feed forward neural network with two inputs as frequency and sound intensity and two hidden layers is proposed. This process...
